Drew School

Visual Identity
& View Book

Drew is an independent upper school in San Francisco. It’s new visual identity and view book reflects it’s focus on individuality and diversity, while embracing different learning styles.

The new identity included a new logotype, robust color palette and typography, graphic language and photographic style.

Diversity is expressed through the mixed selection of sans, slab and serif typefaces. The color palette was inspired by the school’s modern architecture, and the living wall on the exterior of the building. Photography has a journalistic style that brings you into the Drew experience.

To emphasize Drew’s culture of exploration, the view book needed to feel different than the typical admissions tool. Using a premium uncoated paper and a smaller format—along with tactile elements like embossing and foil stamping—the view book created a dynamic visual and tactile narrative.
